The Royal Tennis Club of Stockholm

Welcome to KLTK - the Royal Tennis Club of Stockholm. We aim at creating one of the best and most pleasant tennis clubs in Europe.

One of the goals of the club is to offer possibilities for all members to develop their tennis and find a sense of enjoyment in their game, regardless of age or level of experience.

The vision of KLTK is to confirm and reinforce the position of the club as a genuine meeting place for tennis enthusiasts and their families in Stockholm.

The club, which has around 1 800 members in all age groups, is a members’ club: all those playing tennis on the club will be members or guests of members. Squash courts and the gym are open even for non-members. In addition to 15 indoor hard courts, 5 outdoor clay courts, 1 outdoor hard and 8 squash courts, the facilities of the club include a restaurant and a fully-equipped gym, staffed with licensed personal trainers.

The Royal Tennis Hall – Kungl. Tennishallen – was built in 1943, although the club was founded in 1896. The crown prince Gustaf – later King Gustaf V – himself an avid tennis player, was one of the main initiators and promoters of the game of tennis in Sweden.

In October each year KLTK hosts the ATP-tournament If Stockholm Open, which attracts top players from around the world. In February yearly we organize one of the world-top junior events for boys and girls under-14, Kungens Kanna & Drottningens Pris as a part of the the Tennis Europe Junior Tour.
The club warmly welcomes players of all levels who appreciate a classic tennis environment.
